As above anything to get the weight down in a 4gen lude for track use only so will not need it to be road legal. i have all ready taken out air con and in process of perpex windows thanks in addvance

Getting all the sound deadening out makes a huge difference I believe.

Without a rollcage you can only go so far as the car still needs to be safe. Interior trim, sound deadening, AC, sunroof, 4WS, and interior blower are all the major bits that can be removed. Once a cage is installed you could go nuts chopping out bits of metal from the inside fo the car.

You have probably seen this thread before but its still the best example of how to get the weight down:

See the metal cross frame whar holds the 4ws ecu can that be removed and just fix the ecu down after. or is it there for strenght

That can get removed. It isnt there on the 2WS version.

Well..... there was something there on my car. Im struggling to remeber if it was the rear seat blank or the 4WS mounting bracket :oops: :lol: Either way it can be removed.
