Lude Generation

Well typical gone on holiday had to leave the prelude half way to devon.

car sounds bad like impreza. stalls coming to stop. no power but does drive.

Im thinking my exhaust has come loose. or tesco fuel maybe was fine then suddenly happened i had quater of normal 97 then when switched over went bad.

I suspect it might be something worse

Any1 have any ideas what it could be?

Could something like a duff O2 sensor combined with the fuel change make this happen?

I've been using Tesco99 for a while now with no problems. Might be a crack in the manifold perhaps if it's loud & losing power?

wont be the fuel imo!

does it sound like the exhaust has come off?

engine lights or codes?

Nope no codes. think it is exhaust

just the dying makes really had to drive

Gonna get some breakdown. leave it few days i think

Won't be the change in fuel.

If your exhaust has died you'll hear it blowing

solid black smoke, no blue coming out the exhaust

sounds quite bad, internally

no visable signs on the outside, exhaust looks to be in place

could have jumped a tooth on the belt - mine sounded like a subaru when it was one tooth out

i would also check the centre section of the exhaust again - quite difficult to do with the heat shields in place
