Hey guys. Today i removed my IM port and polished it for the 70mm TB and also put in my S2000 injectors.
Ive bought OBD2-OBD1 adapter wich seem to work and i also removed the Resistorbox / put all wires together.

The car wont start. All 4 seonconds it starts for a half second and dies again. Doenst sound like a misfire. Sounds like id instand turn it off.
No Fuel leak or smell. But bubble sounds at the beginning while fuelpump is running before cranking.
I thought the S2k Injectors can run with stock ECU?

Anybody did that swap and knows what i missed?
Greetings

I am running AP1 S2000 injectors on a standard ecu no problem, although I’m running a 5th Gen with an ATR lump

BB4’s obd1 because as far am I’m aware AP1 injectors or OBD2

And in the above post you’re stating you’ve jumped for OBD2 to obd1 ?

You need a retune to run S2k injectors.

I'm assuming she won't instantly restart either?... She'll be flooded.

What ecu are you running and what other mods since the car last ran ok?

What is a "lump"? My BB1 is OBD1.
ECU is stock EUDM BB1. P13 i guess. No tune. Its a H22A2 with type R Head, cams, IM, 70mm TB. ran fine on stock ECU. I have an AFR gauge aswell.

I thougt the S2k injectors will run okay with stock ecu, thats why i bought them and not ATR ones. (Size closer to the original injectors)

It feels like its getting not enough fuel or at the wrong timing. So iam worried ECU cant handle it.
Also i have an AEM EMS But didnt try yet. dont want to ruin it if theres an electrical mistake.

So is the info wrong and stock ECU is impossible to start with the S2k injectors?
Thanks so far guys.

He means Engine.

I must be honest your symptoms actually sound like the fuel is being cut as soon as the engine starts (similar to a main relay problem)

Can you hear the fuel pump still running when the engine cuts?
What do the spark plugs look like if you take them out? Are they wet or dry?

What reasons could cut it off? Check sparkplug is a good tip! Ill continue the car in a few houres and report.

You might be unlucky and it's unrelated fault that happened to occur at the same time - Fuel pump would cut if the ECU doesn't think the engine is running (start position on the ignition switch over-rides the ECU control of the fuel pump) or because of a fault with the relay.

New Day New Luck or so. After second try today car started poorly. After plugging off injectors i found cylinder 1 and 2 are not running. Iam afraid either the cables got hurt somehow or 2 of the injectors are simply broken (150 bucks..)
Iam charing the battery right now, after that I will try to run cyl 1+2 with the cables of 3+4 and see what happens

Okay after checking all cables and the spark plugs, 2 injector clearly dont do their job. A friend said they might be stuck from laying arround. (Unknow time, 1 year minimum)
So I guess i should put them out again. But how to "clean" them? just throw into gas? Ultrasonic bath? a friend has a cheap/small one. Can i throw them into water? Damn i have no clue about this
