CEL codes.... Brainfart?

So I was overtaking a car the other day, 10 mins after starting the engine, and the CEL popped on and then so did the ATTS. No obvious loss of power but I did back off a bit to complete the maneuver.

Stopped, turned off and on and both lights out. Carried on with my day.

Just read the codes and got:

0001 CEL which is fuel volume regulator

ATTS
42 and 43 which is ECM communication line.

So I'm thinking a hiccup, bubble in the fuel system, brain fart? Car is fine now but obviously I will keep an eye on it.

I'v not run any 'decent' fuel through it since its been back on the road. Maybe a drop of the good stuff'll sort her out..

If it's a dodgy fuel regulator in the making whats that in english money?

Maybe as you haven't driven your car in ages (in the past it's been sitting still) so just a brain fart.. :ugeek:

Is that MIL code 1, or OBDII code P0001?

Ah... MIL code.

In which case... See page 11-46 of the 5g manual - that's actually the Primary Heated Oxygen Sensor, rather than fuel volume regulator.

Does the UKDM 5g have the ODBII port? In which case, would be worth you getting hold of a cheap OBDII code reader and seeing whether it's logged P0131 or P0132 (both of which show MIL code 1, but have different potential causes)

I don't know what UKDM has. I have an import.

It's not done it again and it cleared so I wont be perusing it any further. I'm putting it down to the car not being warm enough. the atts code is a glitch code so I'll just see how it goes.
Cheers for the detailed reply. If I need to get a reader I'll have a place to start.
