Everything is the same apart from the blocks (Type-S has special block to accommodate the ATTS) and ATR has a different intake manifold then the Type-S. Those are the things I can remember right now and I’m sure people will come and say other things.. :geek:

Thank you Nitin, I am going to pick up cams of ATR to put them into my Prelude. I just wanted to make sure that the cams are same as type S.

Cams are strictly the same , as far as i know ( same part number) .
Pistons and rods are different but the compression ratio is the same ;)

ATR will use a 55mm mains crank whereas the Type-S will use 50 mm (well at least the early ones), Rich at PAW said that he is not sure if the later ones got 55mm crank.

If we talk about internals, Type S H22A, H22A7 and H22A8 are all the same.
I didn't know about crank mains, though.
