Lots of interchangeable parts engine wise
Newkid and jjmartin349571 both have CL1's, so should be able to help more specifically

Not as much as I thought can be swapped but there is oem options.
Most of the suspension can be swapped front and rear. Can't remember exactly what can't be but was nothing to worry about.
Brakes are fun. Front discs/carriers are the same but calipers and flexis are different. Cl1 runs a single pot front caliper, if you want to fit atr twin pots you also need to change flexis to atr too. Front pads are different but atr ones can be made to fit. Rear again different but ep3 discs/pads are the same.

Thanks guys - how about the gearbox? Ive heard syncros can need replacing, also clutch kits?
And parts for servicing? Filters etc?
Going to have a look at it later - anything to look out for in particular?

5th synchro can be problem same as atr. Only 2002 models had the stronger synchro. The face-lift atr having the revised synchro is a myth. Only late face-lift had it to. Clutch same as atr or any other h22 clutch.
Service parts are mainly the same but cl1 has a unique airbox so has to be a cl1 filter. Fuel filter I'm not sure about as not looked into it fully.
Same as most honda check for leaks into the boot. Discoloured headlights. An make sure its undersealed if not factor in doing it.
That should just about be it.

Thanks mate,
Ive gone to have a look - pretty much no service history, some paperwork in japanese.
Had cambelt done 3 years ago maybe 2000miles.
wet in the boot, and a bit of surface rust in engine. Central locking only worked on one side of the car.
Opinions?

Meant to say to check eps is working and light goes on and off.
Mine has no history other than a stamp on timing cover for belt being done and what I’ve done since it was imported.

Right, I've got it. Now a proud owner of an accord Euro r.
Yesterday was the oil change and engine flush, oil was filthy!
Found most bits I need apart from a replacement air filter, the one in there clearly isn't right because it's too long for the air box

.
Should I just go straight for an induction kit and if so any recommendations?
I will also need a front engine mount not sure if this is the same as the UK accord?
And the standard problem with the bonnet latch which my prelude also suffered with, I think I will change the whole assembly.

Very nice mate

Is that MeisterR coilovers as well?
K&N filter panels are normally a great place to start. Not sure what Euro-R intakes there are out there or whether Prelude/Accord ones will work. I'm sure AEM will do a cold feed kit.
