D4 Flashing and saggy trans

Hi All
A bit of help needed please?
My Lude has been miss behaving this morning The D4 light is flashing regardless of the gear i am in, also the transmission seems saggy as if not changing?
I dont know if the two are connected but the remote central locking has also stopped working ??? I know its unlikely but seems too coincidental
The only thing i have done prior to this is swap the stereo and take out some wiring with a weird battery sensor built in and replaced with the wiring loom and plug which came with the radio
I am hoping this isnt a sign of failed transmission? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Its the 2.0i with auto box and also the Tiptronic type manual shift which now does not work
Many thanks in advance

Well mate i have tried that and now it seems fine ????? I swapped them back though and it still seems ok so i think i must have disturbed some wiring because i have just noticed the clock had stopped for 3 hrs which is when the fault started
The central locking still isnt working though I think the fob battery is ok because the little red light comes on so not sure with that but the D4 light has gone out and its back to changing as it should ???
I think i will leave it alone and go to the pub while its still working
Thanks for your suggestion much appreciated

Its not working
But its the new wiring harness for the JVC radio for sure when i put that back D4 flashes and and the trans becomes sloppy So i either have gears and no music or music and no gears The choice is mine i suppose
Its a real puzzler How can radio wires effect the transmission? Also i have lost central locking and immobilizer Does any one know how to re set it?

that's a strange one...
Is it just an adapter harness between the oem plug and the new head unit ISO connector?

Hi Yes just the adapter harness
The radio i removed was a Pioneer and the new one is a JVC
One thing i have noticed is when i put the new harness in everything is ok until i take the key out thats why i thought all was well Saturday
So if i just turn the engine off and leave key in at No 1 position its fine but when i take key out and put back D4 flashes and the trans goes also interior light and clock stop working as well as immobilizer and C/L
I am really stumped with this The wiring is all original as far as i can see there is no dodgy scotch locks or new alien wiring anywhere it all looks factory to me ?
