H22A2 rod bearings

Hi guys I was hoping someone could help me out, I'm trying to find a set of rod bearings for my H22A2, now afaik the earlier models, H22A2 included are 50mm & the later models, A5's and A8's etc are 55mm. So first question I guess is if that's actually the case, second question. On every website I've checked, ACL, King and Clevite none of these websites show the H22A2 on the application list, does the JDM H22A share the exact same rod bearings? I don't want to buy a set just to find out they aren't going to fit.

There's a group of 4 letters on the block. AAAA or BBBB.

Iirc AAAA is 50mm and BBBB is 55mm. I can't remember whether the h22a is AAAA or BBBB I'm afraid.

The letters refer to bore/piston size, rather than crank size.

I can't recall the differences in crank size, but there are some previous threads that discuss it, so something should turn up on a search that will help answer the question I would have thought?

Sure from memory only the a7/a8/type-s/s-spec use the 55mm crank. I'm sure @rattymcclelland can confirm if any others use the 55mm crank. Anyway your a2 is 50mm.

Early 5th gens use 50mm mains. After 1997 they were 55.

The 1997-1998 H22a5 is 50mm.

Here's the specs of some of the engine blocks:
Stroke
H22A4 = 90.7mm/3.570
H22A = 90.7mm/3.570
H23A = 95mm/3.740
H23A1 = 95mm/3.740
F22 = 95mm/3.740
F23 = 97mm/3.818
F20B = 88mm/3.464

Main Journal Diameter
H22A4 = 55mm
H22A4 = 50mm (1997 Only)
H22A = 50mm
H23A = 55mm
H23A1 = 50mm
F22 = 50mm
F23 = 55mm
F20B = 55mm

I think they are ACL 1937 iirc, took me drokking ages to work out. They only do alugluide and not race in 50mm ones

This is exactly what I seem to be finding, however people are telling me that the JDM H22A from the 4th gen ludes runs the 50mm mains also, so why would the rod bearings for that; fit the H22A2? most websites even show H22A4's on the application list that's not even used in Europe, but no mention of the H22A2
