Right i have fitted the H22A7 inlet to my H22A bottom end in my BB8 Prelude racecar

I am now noticing the some of the sensors incl the Air Intake temp sensor has a different plug

Is there a sensor i can use from a different Honda/other car to fit The H22A7 inlet with a round plug instead of the square one?

Cheers

I just cut the plug off and fitted 2 small spade style crimps. Sorry it doesn't help with keeping the plug but it's just my solotion :)

I think I may have a redundant plug to suit on the loom to use but if not I'll just do that cheers

You could always do what I did and block off the sensor port on the front of the manifold and the retro fit the standard Prelude sensor somewhere else convenient...

Problem is its already installed in the car. Where did you get that blanking plate from for the Idle control valve/

Ah. Rather than looking for a sensor to fit both the manifold and the Prelude connector (Which I don't think exists), you'll have better luck getting hold of the ATR connector and splicing it in... Assuming the ATR sensor reads the same and you can use it.

I had the blanking plates made up myself.

hmm looking at this post makes me wonder if I need some ATR loom :? Currently I have;
H22 bottom end
H22A7 head
H22A7 inlet but with the two usual ports blocked and IACV convertor plate.

will i be able to just plug in my Prelude loom to all this? or will I need any ATR sensor/plugs/wiring that anyone can think of? :oops:

You can use your Prelude dizzy and alternator as those two items have different connectors between OBD1 & 2.
