Lude Generation

Opinions on a stage 1 organic Exedy flywheel imported and using my standard 4th gen flywheel as I don't want to suffer from a lack of inertia as the flywheel from fidanza which weighs only 8 pounds and I think the standard one weighs I think 21 pounds.

Go with a ATR OEM clutch kit imo. That's what I am doing but with a Fidanza flywheel. I can get a OEM ATR Clutch kit for £163ish inc vat.

EDIT: I mean, there is nothing wrong with Exedy clutch kits, infact I have used them in both my current civic and my previous CRX with no issues. I am only going with ATR because I can get it at a cost of around £10 more than the oem Exedy clutch kit. Just my opinion of corse

I don't really want to change the flywheel, so who makes the best clutch? I thought Exedy were decent? If not fair dues.

you don't have to change the flywheel the atr runs a h22 so the clutch is a direct replacement and a better upgrade than a stage one exedy

You don't have to change the flywheel if you don't want to chap. It is a well known good upgrade for the Preludes tho

I'm really just after a high quality replacement maybe lighter that will improve my cars performance, and my clutch is currently slowly dying a death of a thousand deaths

What does the atr clutch weigh?

Well i don't think there is a light weight replacement for the clutch. The ATR clutch is the favourable choice upgrade wise. And a Fidanza flywheel. You WILL see a performance change then

same as the exedy the weight reduction is in the flywheel only
