Hi guys
Has anyone on here used a f22 with the h22 head?
Only ask as im thinking of boosting in may and dont fancy spending out more money than needed to have the h block sleeved. And i know that the fs have iron liners which can make it possible.
If anyone can help me out

Much appreciated

Ash

I'm sure I've read somewhere there is work needed to the oilways in the block to get it to work. Also the F22 crank and associated will not be as good for higher RPM's compared to the H22.

when I spoken with PAW they told me you can archhiwe this sort of output power without sleeving. Just need to buy mahle gold pistons and they will do the rest. Ofcourse they can do all job as well as providing all needed bits and piecess.

Do you already know who will sleeve your block and roughly how much they ask?

Yea spoken to paw awhile back, think it worked out £1700-2300. With everything done bs removal, sleeved, bored, pistons matched up, crank balanced and poliahed rebuilt.
Same with hond-r they use a bloke that makes custom ones handling 60psi per cylinder, block same as above but for £1600. Ive managed to find someone local to me whos good mates with my mate and is willing to do mine and another block for £1000 all in.
Bargain

Yes mahles can do acheive this which will also work out cheaper but have heard that they give up after awhile mates said they crumble well did on his track prelude.
But once the block is sleeved it can handle 700+ the crank itself has been tested to handle 800bhp

Yes and no. I'm looking also for around this figure but with ability for about 600BHP. Especialy from bottom end must be bulletproof. Will see how about head but this is not so important atm. So I can also say I'm building the monster with only 400BHP output :D :D

Aaaahh jobby. I had to say nothing till the first dynoday

My dartons are at local Post Office ATM and engine block stripped down under my staircase. If we will do 3 of them at time price may go lower. I will join this with my pleasure. But is there pistons needed with this operation? Where are you based?
