Thanks C12HLL, this is more stuff good to hear.C12HLL wrote:A number of my friends have used Gerry for years on all manner of Honda's. None of them has complained and that's from servicing to engine conversions.
Plus anyone that fits a K20 into a Jazz definitely needs to know their onions.
Blueprint ADL do a timing belt kit which include both tensioners and belts for the Prelude. Mine is getting done on Sunday along with a whole rake of other bits and bobs.
Doggo, there is an alternative to performancetek who is a friend. Andrew Baird aka Automek in East Kilbride.
Would recommend him above anyone. Just recently finished a rebuild on one of my mates R33 GTR's and done a sterling job. Also done a massive amount of work on another friends EK9 with a JRSC and all sorts of gubbons going in to it.
Always has nice metal in getting work done and prices are reasonable.

Just for a bit of feedback, chaps, had Service, Inspection, Belts, Tensioner etc. and Gearbox Oil sorted by Gerry at PerformanceTek today.
The Hávamál (Norse poetry dating back 1,000+ years) says “Praise not day until evening, no wife until buried, no sword until tested, no maid until bedded, no ice until crossed, no ale until drunk”. In accordance with same I won't say too much here, but I'm really not expecting any trouble from the engine, and I am moved to comment that based on this acquaintance he seems like a pretty straight, decent guy and to know his stuff.
Cheers

I have used Gerry in the past and the service and work has always been spot on. No complaints from me, the bodywork that was carried out wasn't a bad job at all. He did warn that the rust would come back and it did possibly due to the next owner not really looking after the car.
I don't have a bad word to say about PerformanceTek
