According to Lings, the a7 in an ATR does have one, but the a7 in a Type-S Prelude doesn't, so a little contradictory and both are OBD2.Merlin wrote:This is what Lings says, which matches what I have seen on the engines I have had.

H22a 4th gen - yes
H22a2 - yes
H22a5 - no

H22a8 - no
H22a Type-S - no
If we just look at Prelude H22's then, OBD1 is yes and OBD2 is no.
Prelude Type-S (Item 18)
Accord Type-R (Item 17)

Turns out my engine in the racecar is a H22A from a JDM
I'm fitting the Accord Type -r top end and inlet
so the solenoid from my H22a should be ok?

Either will be fine... It's just whether you need the oil pressure switch or notjasonxr2racer wrote:Turns out my engine in the racecar is a H22A from a JDM
