which gearbox

which is the better gearbox ? the M2B4 or the U2Q7 . just deciding which one to use. cheers Jon

u2q7 has the better diff for track, m2b4 for draging.

the ratio's on the m2b4 are better imo as there is less of a drop between 2nd and 3rd

Click on the wiki lude tab at the top, there is a gear ratio calculator which will show you the max speed per gear and vtec cross over with each box for your wheel size. It's the one I made

u2q7 early gearbox has 5th gear crunch as a common issue also.
