Spark plugs - where from?
Post by Merlin » Mon Jun 01, 2015 11:01 am
I am after a set of either the reccomended NGK Laser Platinum's (PZFR6F-11) or the upgrade Iridium's (IZFR6F11). Anyone know of the cheapest place to get them?
Opie oils seem pretty good for the Platinum - http://www.opieoils.co.uk/pv-79902-ngk- ... -plug.aspx

Its worth checking ebay using the plug number some times I've found them cheaper than by the car etc

Cheapest you'll find...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161369302651? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Or if you want a 5 heat rating then the same price from the same place.

Apparently laser iridium whatever that is...
NGK 4095 IZFR6F-11 Laser Iridium Plug
NGK 6441 ZFR6FIX-11 IX Iridium Plug
Better performance and fuel efficiency from a regular iridium plug, but much better lifespan from a laser iridium.
No question which to go with really.

I like how in that first link I gave it says "DISCOUNT IS GIVEN ON LARGER ORDER QUANTITIES, PLEASE USE LINKS BELOW IF YOU REQUIRE MORE SPARK PLUGS". So you click the link for 4 and are asked to pay 3p extra

Yeah I noticed that too
The NGK blurb about the Iridium Vs Laser Iridium http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/pdf/DYK_La ... m%20IX.pdf
So is the Iridium Laser or the Iridium IX the best one to go for?
Edit - the Iridium IX
