Wurly - if you could let me know if you find an h22 cover this weekend in your box of bits I can paypal you right away. I think I want to have a go at this.

If all else fails I may lean on Solid Fab for welding help haha.

Love my black heatwrap and never ever heard of those issues before. If anything it does the opposite but extracting heat out faster.

This thread in the 'against' section touches upon it very briefly. The link I popped up on page 2 goes into a bit more depth. The more you read on it, the less I liked the sound of it! I am prob more anxious than others as my engine runs very hot as it is due to the build - I prob wouldn't be bothered about it on stock setups
