Hi everybody,
i just bought a 4th generation Prelude and i am not sure with what i want to replace my worn clutch.
I read that clutch from Accord Type R is an upgrade for any Prelude, but does that mean it will last longer than the clutch that is made for Prelude? Also will there be any difference on the pedal feel between the OEM Prelude (H22) and OEM Accord Type R (H22) clutch?
Sorry for my english and thanks in advance!
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Maybe in the near future i will buy Accord Type R U2Q7 gearbox, that is why i am thinking about the Type R clutch.
If somebody know if it will fit on my gearbox, please let me know.
Regards, Matej

How long a clutch last is all dependent on driving style, how you use the clutch on hills/junctions etc. As for fitment yes the atr clutch will fit and should be able to handle more power than your h23a2 gives as it was made for a more powerful engine.
Most have bought from here http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/genuine- ... p-592.html

Thanks newkid! Actually on that site Accord Type R clutch kit is cheaper than Prelude one so i won't be picky too much there
I am going to wait and see how much would charge for clutch kit my local Honda dealer, but i bet its gonna be hell of a lot more than this. Cheers!
