SiR S-Spec. Looking for offers!...Sensible offers!

It's been a while since I've been on here but now I am in need of the right person to take my S-Spec off my hands.

Unfortunately, a week ago a kindly BMW Mini driver decided to hit it in the rear at a junction and for the sake of a bumper, light cluster and rear respray, Insurance Company want to write it off. See pictures.

The car has been cared for fastidiously throughout it's lifetime and my 8 years of ownership and is in really good condition for the year.
The car has some very small dings, the dreaded scraper-molding peel and was currently about to put new discs and pads on with a full bleed, handbrake adjust etc…
The only body rust is just starting to appear in the rear wheel-arch returns and isn't anywhere near the external surfaces yet.

Ideally I would like the car to go to someone who can repair and keep it going as it has loads of life left in it yet and would be waste not to as the car still sails through MOT’s (apart from brakes which were on advisory and about to sort, as mentioned above)

*THE CAR WILL ‘NOT’ BE DVLA CERTIFIED AS A WRITE-OFF* I won’t let them!! haha

*126,000m on the clock but due to SVA Km >Miles when imported, actual mileage is aprx 110,000m
* Pearl White with S-Spec kit and optional mid height rear spoiler (Rare)
*Tweaked H22A 220hp from factory.
*Tein height adjustable Coilovers
*Skunk2 Cat back exhaust (OE Cat)
*Leather & Alcantara/Feaux suede interior
*Enkei EP3 Type R wheels.
*Brand new Toyo T1Rs on front
*Original rear amplified audio system with Gathers CD Changer system.
*Cat 1 Sigma Alarm/Immobiliser with certificate
*Loads of history including SVA paperwork, cam-belt change and various servicing receipts, MOT’s etc.

I have a Prelude Profile over on (sssshhhh) 'PreludeUK' to see various stages of the cars past 8 years.
If you have any questions, please just inbox me.

Any other damage aside from the rear bumper and cluster?

I just picked up a rear JDM bumpeer for £80. Light can be bought for about £20!

Grrr  Fight them! I got the insurance company to change their mind over writing my Type-S off! It takes some grit and determination though. You need to point out the rarity value of the car, that and no matter what they tell you, it's NOT a UK VTi !

There will be some panel damage behind/under that, so for a proper fix there is a bit more to it than ist a bumper and light to be fair... And the only source for a jdm bumper for an insurance repair will be new from Honda, so that will be around £300 on its own (unpainted) so you can see how their assessed cost of the repair clocks up.

I would have thought a high enough valuation could have been argued with them though, that it is worth them fixing?

Anyway, rare car, hope someone on here does buy it and sort it :D

think the best thing it will be a put some numbers what are you looking for instead of waiting for offer, that will e clear for potential buyers IMO
