I'll never understand why people do it either, if you want £3600 put it up at £3750

 It's if a car is travelling 60MPH, how far does it travel in 60 miles.

Easy, just work out how many miles you can run in a minute and then work out how many times the wheels will rotate and go from there

LLL can you give Nitwit a physics lesson please
it would not be a long cliff it would be a high cliff as they go downwards ;)
so it would do 0-60 in 2 secs and about 120mph by the time it hit the bottom
and before you ask no it would not hit Vtec as the wheels would not be turning

Well what's the terminal velocity of a prelude. Depends how high the cliff is and how heavy the car is to go quicker than 60. Luckily the 4th gen is so rusty that the holes allow it to pass through the fail better.

Using basic calculations (so not including weight, drag, etc.) it should take 2.7seconds for a free falling object to reach 60mph, achieved in a fall of 49.98metres.

EDIT2: Not quite sure how I worked out the distance it would take... but here is what I thought. After 1 second it'll be at 9.8m, 2 seconds = 19.6m, third second = 29.4m. 0.7 of that third second = 20.58m. But that's assuming acceleration is a straight gradient (don't know the word), but it's exponential?

EDIT: Not quite sure what the definition of an object is, but the acceleration of gravity is 9.8m/s/s, and 60mph is 26.82m/s?

I think, anyway :? not 100% reliable because everything has a different terminal velocity.
