Yep, I remember a mate doing that on his Renault19 16V now...

Seem to recall the advice he'd got on the R19 owners forum was the same conclusion others are advising on here - best intake was standard, with the bottom of the air box drilled (removing the resonator on the lude being the equivalent).

Ok cheers lads gona have a play on the wkend see if I can get the resonator out, an see if it beats the aem for loud noises :D

It might just be that the noise of your exhaust is drowning out the induction noise? :!:

Hope this helps you out a bit mate. Resonator is extremely easy to remove. I managed it with no problems whatsoever, & I had never even heard of the resonator before then. ;)
