Disappointed with AEM short ram

Yep, I remember a mate doing that on his Renault19 16V now...

Seem to recall the advice he'd got on the R19 owners forum was the same conclusion others are advising on here - best intake was standard, with the bottom of the air box drilled (removing the resonator on the lude being the equivalent).

Ok cheers lads gona have a play on the wkend see if I can get the resonator out, an see if it beats the aem for loud noises

It might just be that the noise of your exhaust is drowning out the induction noise?

Hope this helps you out a bit mate. Resonator is extremely easy to remove. I managed it with no problems whatsoever, & I had never even heard of the resonator before then.
