^^ Pretty much the only reason I bought that particular passenger seat. I could have got a cheaper OMP seat for the passenger but it would have looked gash

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
A few things have a happened to the car recently that I have kept on the DL. First up I have a fuel leak from the tank. 3rd gen Steve has it in the garage today and told me that it is a corroded pipe leaking rather than the tank, which is a huge relief.
I got a new key cut and then got it stuck in the ignition barrel
Since I have no interior I could get to the ignition barrel easily. There is a little plastic cover on the bottom of the barrel and it hides an even smaller inspection hole. A combination of levering with a screwdriver and twisting/pushing the key finally got it out.
I got a new front bumper from Peachy in Milano Red which I swapped with Vanzep who had a Cassis Red pearl bumper. During the swap I put my bumper bar back on the car before the bumper, then slid the bumper over the top and attached it only to the nostrils and wings. It is solid and not going anywhere. Doing the bumper bar mod has reduced the time it takes to swap bumpers from 20mins to 10mins. I want to chop that time in half again by adding quick release fixings.
Finally the car should be in Aberdeen in the next week to get the cage fitted

yep that was good fortune with the bumpers
both of us got what we needed - funny how things work out in the long run
thats good news on the fuel leak - could have been a real pain to fix if it was the tank that had a hole in it.
You should have a good run up to Aberdeen - should be worth it

I spoke to Rich @ PAW who said if I were chasing maximum performance I should go with a custom 3" cat back with a manifold/downpipe that has a 2.5" collector. My Fujitsubo has a 2.5" collector
