Perhaps not to everyones taste but I am continuting with the maroon / black / gold combo and painting my engine and gearbox gold. I got it back from the builder the other day rebuilt and full of LSD & final drive

Talking to you has definitely tweaked my interest in this project.

And as for Maroon, Black and Gold.... it isn't the same, but based on my wall as a kid at least two of those colours go together alright....

I'll be doing the engine this week at some point. At the moment I am planning on doing the rocker cover Cassis Red Pearl to match the body work. The sump is off to go and get baffled, will be speaking to PAW today hopefully.

The engine needs a few electrical connections replaced, one of which was snapped during transit. The VTEC solenoid electrical connector snapped but I have a whole replacement VTEC solenoid on my spare a2. I noticed that the knock sensor has snapped but there isnt the other half of it on the wiring loom

I wonder if PAW tuned it without the knock sensor enabled, I will ask them.

I took off the intake manifold to give everything a good clean and paint it properly. I have been able to have a good root around now that the engine is on a stand. The sump is off a the moment as that is off to PAW.
