I do like what I've seen of your old Citroen collection. Look forward to hearing how this goes!

Ta - I was hoping this one was going to be fairly easy to get back on the road.
It was originally only taken off the road because the head went. I'd swapped that, but stupidly didn't put the original injectors in and the ones that came in the replacement head I think are rather knackered - SCHMOKE!

Then I bought the house and it dropped down the list and it's stayed there since.
Unfortunately, looking over it today, I see that ten years outside has not been at all kind to it

The bottom of the doors are badly rotten (I mean really quite drokked) so god knows what the underneath of the body and the chassis will be like
So after today I'd say one of the other ones will be a far better prospect, but I'll run this one up and give it more of a look over and we'll see. I'll probably swap the injectors too anyway, just to satisfy myself that was the only thing making it smoke.

From personal experience to make it bloody difficult to get out and keep clean at the same time. Also the CX did not have a massive boot and the Safari had a flat low floor. The only thing in it favour was the variable suspension height which meant it was self jacking(provided the engine worked) I miss those air horns though one press get out of my way, hold the button down, now you will crap yourself!
This one is a little over the top

Yep, it's the spare wheel. It is a pain to lift in/out but it does keep it clean. As Paul says, the boot floor is completely flat because it isn't in the back.
Ok, so a couple of external pics of the glamorous beast (taken this morning while still on charge)

Big enough?

Yeah. Can't help liking these things. Hope she's on the roll soon.
Edit: If this thing doesn't have a name, might I suggest the Space Hulk? (Ok, not very Gallic, I know).

Well the battery's drokked. 24 hours on charge, 3.2 volts is all it can muster. nice warm charger cutting in/out too

But bugger. Won't be buying a new one of those beasts just to try and fire it up (very expensive).
Looks like the old battery will be massively dragging down anything I connect to it, so I think I'll try disconnecting it and jumping it without. That can wait till it stops raining though!

No difference with the battery disconnected, still drawing too much current (jump leads getting properly warm, despite being decent heavy duty ones).
Have ordered some 600amp ones and might run them in parallel off both ludes at the same time
Failing that I'll have to buy some 2000amp leads and try them instead, I guess!
In the mean-time, here's a pic of the dash to add some vague interest to this post
