The Imp and the Alfa

Got a car that isn't a Lude? There's no condemnation here. Tell us about it!

The Imp and the Alfa

Post by KeithB » Fri May 11, 2012 8:50 pm

I'll get some more pics over the weekend.
Here's the sons Imp.
Had it as his first car and he bought it before he was old enough to drive it but no tax and iirc only cost him 800 max to insure just after he passed his test.
LOL I got a quote on it fully comp last year just to see and it was about 50 quid on limited mileage.
Anyhow he's spent a lot of time and effort and still at it.
Now has programmable ecu, front rad, discs and more. I'll get a spec list off him.
Self taught and welded the rear arch repair panels himself, just rebuilt another engine to go in which is why pics are without.

Yes!!! I had an imp for my first car. When it ran well (which was for one glorious day out of about half a year) I loved that thing. It got sold tho when I was on holiday!
