Doggo's '99 CBR1000F

Owned about 5 years, but off the road for the last couple.
Big thanks to
@3rdGenSteve (And his Pencaitland Garage Services) for delivering me from a valley of grim bikelessness into a sunlit shiny red upland of speed and lean.
Collected yesterday afternoon, 160 miles across central Scotland showed her purring like a kitten, and accelerating like a cat that's had its tail trodden on.
Update
@Prelude91
More/better pics to follow when I get round to it...

Lo
That takes me back
I had a couple of CBR 600's during my biker days , the first was the very first model that came out

god only knows how long ago that was
I stopped riding in 1999 so i guess it must have been mid 80s
My bike history starting in 1982
Honda MB50
Yamaha 100
Honda CB125
Honda MBX125
Kawasaki GPZ550
Honda CBR600
Honda CBR600 Newer
Kawasaki GPZ750
Kawasaki Zeypher 550
Yamaha FZR600
Cheers

That's quite a bike history. Lots of nice Honda's too.
I always fancied a GPz, although I didn't ride a bike until well after they stopped making them. Always preferred the looks of the GPz550, with that great paint job. Although the 750's were supposed to be brilliant, eh? I think my old instructor had one of the first CBR6's too - it had 83k on the clock and ran like new.
(I think the first CBR6 was 1986?)

I want a bike now..
But the only one that I can actually drive is the Honda Zoomer.

Much as I love them, I wouldn't generally recommend people get into bikes. Zoomers
are cool, though
Or a MotoCompo?

No worries, just glad you enjoyed the run home.
Looking good in the pics, hopefully get out on a few runs soon, make the most of it before the weather gets any worse.

I've never seen someone come out like this.

I guess in your circles it's usually something more flamboyant?

Like wearing pink flamingo shorts?
