Picked up an old Jazz today

It is a Silver 2002 1.4 Petrol 5 Speed Manual 5 Door SE Model. 96,000Miles.
Proper manky inside and out but goes and stops okay so thats a plus. Its all there and seems to work ok. :)
Needs some TLC so will be having a good look at it over the next couple of days and then decide what to do with it :)

Pics as it stands

I quite like them. When my lude spat its balance shaft seal and dumped its oil across Lincolnshire I called the AA. They came and said they couldn't get me back to Shropshire that day but would loan me a car to get home. It happened to be a brand new, canary yellow Jazz. I loved it, the girlfriend hated it. Colour and lack of grunt aside it was incredible fun for the 150 mile drive home.

Great stuff :)

You weren't kidding about manky! Reckon you've got a couple of days to think about what you'll do with it while you clean it ;)

 I dont think it would fit unless it was engine in the back

ive just checked and combined cost to tax and insure it for a year would be under £300 - thats not bad and apparently 60mpg

still there is bound to be a down side otherwise i wouldnt have got the car for such a low price
theres no service record but plenty of receipts for work done in the last 6 years but nothing before that - so cant see if cambelt has been done and its at 96k :?

My mum has the 1.2 version and on a motorway run it'll only get around 46 mpg on the little display thing. Whether that's because the gearing may be different to the 1.4, i don't know.

FYI spoon have dropped a k20 in one ;-)
