Rob's R34 GTT

Post by rob quilter » Wed Apr 16, 2014 4:13 pm

Well, this ended up being my Lude replacement. A 1998 Skyline R34 GTT manual that I bought from a friend.

It was imported in 2008, has every Nismo option factory fitted, currently on 65,000 miles. I've done the belts since I've owned it, in the service history theres also Nissan service receipts from new showing:

Oil change
Gearbox oil change
Diff oil change
Brake fluid change

EVERY year from virtually new 8-)

Nismo options fitted:

Bumpers
Seats
Dials
Mats
Exhaust (Exhaust has a flap inside that can be adjusted via a switch next to the steering wheel to change the sound)

Mods:

Bilstein Coilovers
HKS Turbo Timer

Future plans:

Fit Tokyo Squad Coilovers
Change rims

What is the main difference between the GTT and GTR? Just power and 2wd?

I'm interested in seeing the difference in the noise of the exhaust with flap on and off. :scaredtoss:

GTT has RB25DET and RWD.
GTR has RB26DETT and 4WD.

GTT runs RB25 (2.5l) single turbo, RWD;
GTR runs RB26 (2.6l) twin turbo, 4WD with loads of traction magic trickery..

I think there's about 60bhp more in the GTR and it has different bumpers etc.

You beat me to it but I've written this so I'm posting it anyway @Donald!
