Sepent a few hours making a plate to sort the gearbox mount out. Just about ready to finish welding and start spraying

Looks like a reasonably easy fix for the gearbox mount in the end bud :)

You would think so haha, took about 3hrs to get it right, but worth it in the end, just going to beef all the welding up to OTT standards haha

not being funny but do you think you should get somebody else to weld this lot together for you because that is shocking. your gonna have an engine and box on the street the first time you stick your boot down or on your lap if you had a nasty accident, i know you say your gonna beef up the weld but thats not weld its splatter, seriously mate you need that welding done better than that. may seem harsh but its just some good honest advice from a professional welder.

Hahaha That was just to tack it, with a jobby arc welder that's on it's way out, Iv just ordered a new mig, 20l bottle of argon/co2 mix and my firend who welds for Royals Royce is sorting me out so it's all good ;) haha but thanks for the advice.. All the tacks are being ground down/cut off

I'm not that daft haha, I can weld with a mig fairly well not perfect but I'd prefer someone who is a pro and he's seeing if he can get his work Tig welder but I Carnt see that happening haha
