I love that Celica. I considered it the umpteenth time it popped up on ebay. Always a worry when a car changes hands that often though.

Could you not get the Éclat alloys re-drilled 4x100 (45 degrees to the existing PCD)? Then you can obviously loose the spacers. Although the rims I had on my Aerodeck were 7J et25 and they were perfect in my opinion.

Without adjustable rear arms...

I looked into arch extensions as well. I think I worked out that Celica Supra arches were going to be too big. I thought Peugeot 309 Gti Ecosse Milano arches were a possibility... They even look to be the correct shape...

Struggling to find a proper picture, but this guy modified a set to fit his 4 door...

There was a fibre glass company making cheaper replicas on ebay once, but they seemed to stop advertising them and their communication was rubbish sadly.

Can't help with the arch covers either I'm afraid, but completely with you on the look. Massive camber and tyre stretch is not the way, nor are the hugely obvious stick on arch covers.

I did consider having them redrilled, but I've read a lot about the metal of older wheels not being strong enough to take the heat of welding up the existing holes, and then failing on the road. And I'd rather not risk it!

Plus I have the option for a lot more Japanese wheels with those adapters now, if any were to pop up. :D

Those Peugeot arches look a little too squared off for my liking, but I'll keep looking!

You could either roll with the Mexi-flush (though I saw 20+ cars a day in FL with that, and not one looked good!!)

Get over fenders like the Celica, though not sure how good they'd look on the 'deck as it already has flared arches as standard

Or just roll the fudge outta your arches like Hutch did on his 3G

I wouldn't be able to get enough flare out of rolling the arches without completely ruining them, the metal would be thin and weak so I'd rather do something that's reversible if I change my mind, like drilling holes and fitting flares.

Plus when we did my Polo arches [granted those square arches are harder] I felt sick at what I was doing to the poor thing

People keep suggesting camber, but I don't want to go through tyres every few months and it defeats the object of having nice wide tyres as part of the tread won't even touch tarmac. I like looking at the mad Japanese guys cambered cars but I don't think I'd personally want to have one :P

On another note, @Crazy_C you may be interested in what I got at the scrapyard the other day and I may need your help with it too! I've had an idea, I'm no wiring genius though so not sure how it would work out? But I bought a dash light dimmer switch from a Prelude and I want to use it as a switch to raise and lower the headlights by certain amounts... Think it's possible?

C'mon guys, I have a vagina - that means I'm fussy as f***, and just as awkward!

The 205 ones don't go down low enough, same with the 106 ones. I may have actually sourced some now, waiting for a reply :D I'll let you all know if it works out, don't want to jinx it yet!
