It's about practicality and strength really the engine is to be mounted to the one on the right of course so made it longer so I can add some extra bits

not sure i would have welded them to the shock towers i would have strengthend the wing rails and welded to them give you a crumple zone that would leave the majority of the shell straight

Haha no just making it safe and strong plus this was it will pass the MOT lol..
I'd prefer to go OTT the tubing is not that weighty tbf
Soon will be a 8-10point cage :)
