You've proved it'll sell, I'd hang on to it till you find a lude worth having, then do what you must.

It met reserve but not one person has asked to view.NafemanNathan wrote:I thought you were joking Wurly!![]()
So did it not reach reserve or something Sam?
Only you can make the decision, but why not stick with this for a little longer? Not like it's going to depreciate and time will tell you whether you'd be best of getting another lude.

I have ended the listing. Not one bidder requested to view. The thing with eBay, the buyer has a get out clause. They win. Come to look at it. Decide it's too expensive or they don't like it. All they have to do is say " you never mentioned that scratch or dent in the listing " walk away not buying and then not completing the sale as it's not described. I will have to go through it all again.

Id be pissed off too. However I had not one message requesting additional photos. Not one message requesting a viewing. I ended the listing and not one person of the 274 watchers and 3000 page views wants to know why it was ended not even the highest bidder.

Rather than being suspicious about that, in this instance I would say it's because your advert was so very well written and detailed Sam - I read the ad and couldn't think of anything more to ask about the car. if I was buying, I'd just have bid straight off, too!

And I wouldn't be surprised if all of those watching that were seriously interested or bidding have just assumed you were offered money well above what it was currently sat on. After all, it had met the reserve, so in their eyes you had nothing to loose by letting the auction run, you'd only remove it if it had sold by other means.
Next time maybe state that you'll only sell to someone if they come to view the car first... But then the chances are you'll receive no serious interest as quite often these cars are hundreds of miles away from the serious bidders, and who wants to travel hundreds of miles to view a car when you don't know you're going to win it?
