I'll make a heat plate up for it at some point. The old intake system ran all the way around the back of the block so this is better really!

Yea, you know my taste in the tat!

I wouldn't mind one of these! Nice set of dished rims and slammed with tinted windows would look sick

Dom, surely there is an intake pipe available that will sit the cone where the old air box is?

I have a short ram like that on my F20Z1 and it was awful, on hot days in traffic the car was a pig and would almost stall if reversed.

I stuck a Prelude intake pipe on it and it fitted a treat (although my box was to the side of the battery) and sat on the three cold air feeds to the old box and make a massive difference, the sound was better too.

The old air filter is behind the block so no space for a cone there. The car has lost a little bit of torque but it is so much more responsive now it makes up for the loss of torque.

Wait it gets warm though mate!

Can you not route it somewhere? What is that box to the left of the battery?

I realise that after i posted! Doh!

If the intake was foot longer, at least the cone would sit on the cold air feed to the old intake pipe.
