Surely you want something a bit more classic looking? At least like a V-Max...

why not leave a perfectly good (i use good loosely to describe the divvy) and ride that?

Nathan, this is the style I'll be going with mine, just without the rear bench seat (for now anyways)

I would never own a Russ Mitchell trike, as much respect I have for the man's engineering skills, it is negated by the lack of respect I have for the man.

And I love the Fat Nitin picture, that is awesome!

I will also be extending the rake at some point and wide-ish wheels on the rear, with no fairings at all, so it won't look like those pics you posted.

Phil, I did say earlier on that I don't have a bike licence, and with my bad left leg, I can't support the weight of a bike on the left side, so I wouldn't be prepared to ride a bike knowing that encase I injured someone or caused an accident.

Well if the trike is under 450kg unlaiden do you not require a bike licence?

Nope. Changes to the classifications of trike licencing means that on a car licence, you can basically ride any trike you want. This is why Piaggio / Vespa and so many other companies are making "tadpole" trikes, the most recognizable being the Piaggio MP3 and the Can-Am Spyder, as they can be ridden on a car licence.

There has been a massive increase in people looking to insure trikes, and currently, a trike conversion on a motorbike will increase it's value considerably due to this.

Yea, I'll be doing my trike as rat look as I fancy another rat motor, but this will be all matt black with red pinstripe. Get the bike on Saturday, start stripping it apart and then get the rear frame ordered up and then trike it

I must admit, I am looking forwards to turning up at work on a trike, will certainly be fun!
