Was that the white manual that was on recently?? I was the lead bidder on that but eBay pulled the listing, I think somebody was shill bidding looking at the bid history :(

I didn't see it, but I assume so.

Was a shame the listing got pulled as it looked a nice motor and I had the money waiting. Dodgy seller by all accounts though, had zero feed back and other zero feedback accounts kept bidding the car up then withdrawing bids.

Yeah, auction was removed about five hours before the end. I had been tempted to put in a cheeky bid but to be honest I just had a bad feeling about the car/seller ... my inner juju was all akimbo. Glad I didn't bother now and will put all my efforts into Dexter.

This was the car in question ...

A tidy looking motor but the seller just seemed wrong. :(

Certainly looks a clean example. Shame. Do you know how much it was on before it was removed?

I put a bid of £450 on from memory, it didn't go over that I don't think (or at least there were no 'serious' higher bids, they kept being withdrawn by the bidders immediately after  ). I'd have paid more but the weird bids put my back up

I messaged the seller twice and never got a single reply. I can't abide time-wasters like that and I lose faith in them and their items very quickly.

Glad you're getting the repairs done of Dexter.

As for the short intake, I did notice a vast improvement in throttle responce, although you do have to remember that mine does have a stage one cam in it, so it is revvier to suit the cam.
