WOW. £250?? Absolute Bargain.

I'm bang into my Yank cars (Usually have had Camaros and Trans Ams) and this car, For all it was probably the Least mustangy looking mustang, will be worth 20 times what you paid after a little TLC. For some reason, the 80's ponys have soared in price over the past few years. I was offered a red one of these for £600 a few year back and really wish i'd got it.

I really like the yellow and black paint too. Looks like kind of a Boss 302 paint job. Very nice.

Cheers guys, yea, it's not bad colour scheme but it won't be staying yellow and black though, will be getting some matt black paint tomorrow and attacking it!

I'm tempted to do a red stripe on it to match the red interior, but will have to see.

Aawww. that's a shame, but i know where you're coming from with the matt black.

Would it not be better to get matt black Plastidip? Thats what all the kids in america are going for. Then you can peel it off if you get sick

Seriously though, have a think about it. These cars are going WAY UP in value. If you keep it the stock colour and tidy it up, keep it pretty much stock, it'll be worth MUCH more.

I know you're going to be pretty much like me though and once you get your mind set on something you have to run with it lol.

If this was the stock paint job, then yes, I'd be tempted to keep it, but it was painted yellow (albeit professionally) several years ago, but it was originally black.

Anyways, it's done now! I made a start on it, still needs a couple more coats on the doors and the roof and trunk could do with flatting off and another coat doing, but other than that, it's come out alright, considering it was painted with paint from poundland!
