along with no main relay click or green imobiliser key light on the dash

Is that a common fault??

Is it a case if just redoing the points?

Yes mate. Very common, a few of the points are prone to cracking due to temperature rising and falling so often. Sometime you can spot the cracked ones.

Hmmm ill do it that way it eliminates another possible problem I'm not sure it will be that but ill see

try some of the hints on this screen shot although its from a 90-93 accord



another thing to check is the connections on the ignition barrel.

Ahh thanks for them!!! I don't have the ignition switch iv only go the plug but putting the live to then I'm the sequence it should to start or even all of them I still get no spark, fuel or main relay click
It just turns over

Iv decided I'm going to order a socketed p28 off Htune, will I need the

1 wire vtec mod in the ecu

Thanks honda-hardy!! I followed what you said and tested the main relay all good tested the wiring NO ecu signal so chased the wires in this


I could the wire had splt so I connected it up again



And I went again
