Actually I have a soft spot for the mk1 MX5 and if I want such a fat fat fatty I'd have one once my Lude bites the big one.

I love MX-5's

They're great fun to drive, I'd say on the right road, more fun than my Legnum, because you can get closer to the limits in an MX-5. Don't get to drive my mum's very often any more, but it was lovely to drive to around whenever it wasn't raining with the roof down

Took mine out today. Empty roundabout, 2nd gear, go in slow, build up speed gradually, feel rear tyres gently letting go, maintain throttle, hold drift, smile a lot
