Really? I must say I'm surprised you haven't heard of them Ratty. I know they're not a well known brand at all, but I know how much of a super-hyper-audiophile you are
What I love about Shadow Works is though, that they're not one or the other, but somehow, they're both. If you crank the bass up, then yes, it's SPL, but if you run them at moderate power, and keep the EQ set sensibly then they're spot on for SQ too. Amazing build quality on them too.
