Has anyone got any tips for fitting a pair of bucket seats?
I have got a nice pair of Sparco Evo2's waiting to go in but fitting looks a bit of a faff.
Have removed the rails & runners from the OEM pax seat & refitted them to the car.
My plan is to attach the bucket side-mounts to the runners. Looks relatively close dimension/width-wise. This will allow for fore/aft movement of the seat to suit different drivers. (my bro & I like different seat positions!)
Rails will need brackets/ancillaries grinding off then drilling to suit by the looks of things...
Any tips from others who have done it before greatly appreciated!.
Chris

It's pretty simple, just cut all the unnecessary bits off, I welded the seatbelt receiver point back on mine so it made using a harness easier and could use standard seat belts if wanted.... Just make sure you bolt the rails in the car once all jobbies cut off then bolt your side mounts to the seat, put it in and line it up on the rails, mark your points to drill holes and make sure you have appropriate bolts, nuts and washers...
Also you may have to use the side mounts the other way around depending on how wide your seat is...
Have a look at my bb4 build to see some pics but didn't go into much detail at the time..
