My JDM accord has this on the stalk. I thought my lude did too. But upon inspection it doesn't. Did ludes come with this feature? As I'm sure I've seen it somewhere before.

Never had it on UKDM Ludes, would have been nice though.

I would like to retrofit this. Very useful on my van when it isn't reading much.

I don't think any ludes had it, which is a shame really.
This is something I've been looking to retrofit but haven't got very far with the research yet!
Here's a thread from back in 2013 discussing the VW "99" relay, but no wiring diagram.

Well this post has got me thinking, so I did some research into it.
I have now bought a VW "99" relay of the bay of e, and think I have worked out which wires to tap into in the Prelude.
I'll have a go when it arrives and post the results

My Rover 3500 had this feature in the 1970s.
Find the feed from the intermittent position on the switch and bridge it with a rotary rheostat and you can then make it go as quick or as slowly as you want.
If you do the same with the third (fast) position you'll get a wide range of control.

Toyota did this back in the 80's on my 87 Supra and it is on my 91 Soarer. I think you would be better off getting a stalk with slow intermediate and fast with a bezel to adjust the speed then figure out how to wire it up.
BTW the Soarer has an automatic light position that puts the lights on when it gets dark or goes through a tunnel or similar.Another idea to think about when you are bored.
Sometimes from the tone of my posts it seems that all I do is extol the advantages of the Soarer but it has a lot more toys than a Prelude as it was nearly twice the price of a prelude when new so it should have BUT due to my health I can't drive the Lude any distance and I bloody miss it you feel you are driving something noisy and hangs onto the road at speed, yep I miss my VTEC kicking in. I might try and drive it today to Tesco which is a mile away but I will try the 20 mile shortcut!
