Boot tensioners

I'm gonna lose the head lol

Can anyone give me advice on how to remove these??
I did it before but can't remember and and the forums say "use a long handled screwdriver to prise off"

tried it. Failed it. Gonna burn it [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

Any tips greatly appreciated!
(It's the bars that take weight off boot lid, one side has a hook and the other is more of a tension clip)

Before anyone asks, I installed speakers and the bars are clunking against them, just want them out as I don't use boot nor do I have any boot interior or spare wheel

Push out with your hands. Mine do. I am strong and tough because of my milky bar.

I meant download and use...
Never had a problem with it (and downloaded a fresh copy a week or so back, as it goes)
What are you trying to open it on?
