How to turn nob!!!!

Trying to get gear knob off in new moter but can't shift it any ideas? ??

Top of the gaitor you have to squeeze and twist and pull the gaitor down in one motion and then unscrew the knob.
Screw that knob hard until it releases.

Man I have tried to screw that knob hard she ain't shifting it's a momo!

A quick Google seems to say that it is held on by 3 Allen screws into a rubber piece. I googled how to remove momo shift knob
seems you are not alone with this problem.
