Different OEM dials?

Post by CrunchyAdams82 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 9:53 pm

Has anyone seen these before?

They're in my current 4th I've just bought, but I've never seen them before.

Different to UKDM, & different to JDM.

My 4th is a very early JDM which also has the rare 'trial' production grey interior. Not to my taste, but rare nonetheless.

Do you think these dials were also a 'trial' version, or have you seen them before?

I thought this when I first looked at them  a little odd that a JDM would have the MPH as a main speed reading :?

Someone had swapped the dial face, you can buy them on eBay. Avoids you needing a converter.

Ahh, I see. I need to whack some JDM ones in there as the odometer doesn't work, & these only go up to 120mph..

Having said that though, the odometer is labelled KPH..I think these may be the originals.

They have the common branding on them that you find on these cars..next to the 120mph. 'NS' is it? The eBay ones don't have that, or the '90' mph number.

Does looks like a stuck over cover to me? Might just be the photo, but at the indicator/main beam lights it looks like something is stuck over the top of something else?

That being the case, because there's no converter (just the scales changed on the front) the odometer would still be reading in km, so the km label next to that would be correct.
