A/C compressor relay is behind the passenger side headlight.
Auto should mean the system operates everything itself, adjusting the fan speed etc as it sees necessary to achieve the internal temp.

Air-con problem - Update on 'Auto' setting

Morning fellas, lots to tell you about today but just wanted to share some splendid news. Yes, I've wet myself and here's a photo to prove it.

This was after we'd fitted the new air-con control box into the car earlier today. I took her out for a fairly long drive (equivalent say, Halifax to Leeds and back, at high noon and it's been bloody hot today). After I got back, I had to wait outside Jason's place as he had another car in the bay. After that car had left, I drive inside and this was my happy accident on the pavement outside. So, we know the drain pipe is clear.
