Hi guys, I have a problem with my car
. The vtec only engages when the car is just below normal temperature. As soon as the car is at normal temp it doesn't work. I have just serviced it and it is still the same! Please help someone!

where about are you? might help if someone is local to you and can have a look or suggest a good garage/mechanic
low oil level is the first thing to check for and any leaks around the vtec solenoid/spool valve

Hi vanzep
Thanks for the reply, I'm in North Wales.....The oil level is good with fresh Shell Helix. It seems strange that it only works at a certain temperature? I'm thinking it is a temperature sensor? I have no management light on the dash so would a garage be able to find the problem? Cheers mate.
