Ok guys, I better get this build thread started then :)
So as some may know already, I got my lude from my work as a cheap part ex, brought her home and that's were she sits atm. Have been collecting a few things so now is the time to get on with it. Big plans which will take time so will have to bear with me.

Anyways start with getting her in the air, Not thought of a name for 'her' yet :| .

Could say she's in the air  on the max setting on the stands and had to borrow works high rise jack to do it  :?
She is safe tho so I can get around and under it with no problem.

This was yesterday and I am going to be goin and doing some more work on it today, along with pics of corse 8-).
Here's a few more pics of the workplace I have at my mums place, all the tools including engine stands and crane ect.

Started also taking some bits out of the engine bay, battery, tray and brackets ect. Had a test run with some black hammerite spray paint on one of the 2WS subframe arms, think I will be doing this from now on ;)

The 'shed' is a bit of a mess atm, but will get tidy ready for the lump to be pulled. 8-) . So today I will be removing the rear bumber, wheels, and rear suspension/4ws ready for a jetwash and underseal. Dinitroll FTW ;). Have already removed the A/C and cruise. Well I will update this eve and show my findings. :D
Cheers

Looking forward to seeing the transformation. So many track ludes for sale and being created at the moment. Really cheap and easy to do with great power and reliability. Good luck

Hi guys. Been busy today. Had a mate help me out so got it done pretty quick. So got the rear bumper off, wheels, rear suspension and the skirts to check for rot. I am happy to say that there is only ONE spot :D :D. None behind the skirts or in the arches. Gave it all a good jet wash, especially the arches :) .
So here we are, some more piccys . . . . . .

The one spot of rot :(

And then what we ended up with at the end of the day.

So just got to repair a crap fuel tank strap and then under seal the rear, sort and refresh rear suspension bits and fit the back half back together with all new bushes and the 2ws sub frame. Happy days :)

Fast work.
Are you keeping the leather interior if you're tracking it, or selling? (plenty of non leather interiors available on here)

Wow, sills and arches seem pretty damn good! Sure you dont want to pick up a grotty shell to track and keep this one mint? :D

Thanks guys. Leather interior is coming out, at least the rear has anyway. Which is in great condition. Same can't be said tho for the drivers seat which is drooked. Hopefully a bucket seat will be going in with the standard pass seat for now. I had thought long and hard about keeping it standard and like restoring it but i realy cannot be doing with the work of a rotten shell for track if u know wat i mean. At least i have got a realy good base to start with. :) Will be some stuff for sale hopefully tonight ;)

Cheers

Another Track 4th gen - Dinitroll underseal - filler pipe

Hi guys.

Well got on with it for an hour or two this eve. :)

Got a replacement metal fuel filler pipe that was in much better condition than mine was. Gave it a bit of a clean and a paint, Not too bad IMO. :)
Image

Got the 2ws sub frame done too. Ready to go in :D :D
Image

Masked of the open holes ready for the Dinitroll under seal. . . . .
Image
Image

And then got the rear arches, rear panel and under of boot floor covered. It looks half done but I did that too show the difference. Its all fully coated now.

Best pics I could get with the amount of light I had. Its bloody messy stuff, but well worth it. ;)

So gota refit the filler pipe, remove the 4ws wiring harness, replace a tank strap and then bolt the sub frame in ready for the rest of the gubbins. :) :)

Cheers
