My new BB1 lude

Ok so here we go, my new lude. Its a JDM SI VTEC over all its in pretty good condition, there is the usual arch rust and a patch of hole at the bottom of passenger arch but its is nothing I can not deal with. Thing is every lude I had looked at had bad arches anyway or were full of filler, these are the lesser of the evils anyway.

The lude has 81,000 kilometers on the clock which translates to 50,000 miles  After driving the car I can confirm its still doing kilometers and by the way the car feels drives like a new one, everything is tight and spot on. Its epic!!!

It has:

LSD
T/C
Sunroof
4WS
ABS
Cruise Controll

So the issues I have right now and to be sorted first:

ABS Sensor right rear needs changing or cleaning
Horrible high pitch whistle noise on tick over (I think its pulling air in by the FITV Valve)
Lumpy lower acceleration (probably related to above)
Shock knock of death or rear drop links
Arches

That lot aside though and this is going to be a fantastic project for me because its absolutely untouched by any mods YET!

I am not going to be doing a track car but I will make me a nice street car out of this. First on the mod list is new shockers and springs. Trying to decide which wheels to fit, my old 18s or some 17s. Im thinking the 18s may catch with it being 4ws, will have a play tomorrow and see. Also a stainless zaust to get on too. Let the pimping commence.

Thats all for now, I will keep this updated with any mods or work I do, these are the only piccies I have at the moment but I will get plenty more over the next few days. I am loving this car already

Looks good. I'm not that much of a fan of silver cars (Despite my 5th being one) but I think it really brings out the curves in a 4g.

I didnt realise just how low the milage was and I am stunned and very happy, the engine should last me quite a while :D 8-) I did think at one point that there was a crack in the block or head gasket had gone, it was just a huge ammount of water in the zaust, its been sat here for a while. Engine is perrrfect :D

Yeah you should have your coilovers back shortly, I am just going to start off with the bits I have lying around, It will look a lot like my red one in the not so distant future but silver. I am undecided about a clour change yet. Got a euro kit and spoon lip, will be doing my 3rd round mouth bumper conversion shortly 8-)

Its growing on me, the more I look at it and plan what I think would look good, the more I want to keep it silver, will see how it looks with a bit of work first
