Couple of updates
OEM spoiler put on
Then i started to strip stuff off to have a look at the cambelt, on removing the alternator belt this came away in my hand
Fecked bottom pulley, now i don't know if this is what the noise was so still need to check the cam belt, but you never know I might be lucky and that's all it was

Not really much of an update as i can't really do anything till I know the engine is ok.
Been raining all day so been playing with the CarPC software, mount needs finishing off as i bought it like that.
Still needs loads of work to get it all setup right, but i'm getting there

Rain Stopped play today, so into the garage I headed with a few tools
Aim of the day to remove the crank pulley off my old engine, and f00k me they are on tight. It wasn't help by the fact that the engine was on a stand. I had to use a jack wedged to the stand and against the removing tool to stop the engine from turning.
Eventually with me hanging off the end of the bar, it went CRACK and came undone
Problem I now have is that the replacement pulley I have is damaged, but I have no choice but to use it an hope it doesn't chew up the auxiliary belts
Ideal world I'd replace it, but I'm doing this on a budget of basically nothing so I'm having to make do till I can afford to replace parts.
I'm hoping that I can do it up tight enough, my torque wrench only goes upto 210Nm so hopefully be enough, fingers crossed
If the thunderstorms stop i'll see if I can get the one off the car, but it's not looking to hopeful at the mo so might have to wait till tomorrow

Got a break in the rain so ran out and started on the car, same tools as last time but need a longer socket extension to clear the wing/bumper.
Which made it all a bit Floppy, so with the aid of an axle stand....
This was worse than the other one, had to jump up and down on it before it cracked, it was even lifting the car up by the force applied to the removing tool on the ground
End result
Think that's fecked, don't you
Another storm came over before I could get the cover off to look at the auto tensioner, but might be able to pop back out in a bit.

Ok, covers off, lined the crank arrow to point up
And the cams point
As far as I can tell that's not slipped at all, but I may be wrong
And I have no idea how to tell if the auto tensioner has gone

Sort of sorted, it's not perfect, but it's not stalling now. Need to get a new Dizzy
And here some pics as i've been lacking lately
Crudely made auto tensioner bracket, but it worked
Turns out the Main relay was ok, but while I had it out I spotted a few dry joints
So resoldered them while it was out, save having problems in the future.
Now it's running I need to get it ready for MOT, which I know it needs a couple of things, the exhaust is fecked and there's no fog light.
Anyone know this make?
Looks too bad to be welded so the exhaust off my other car will have to go on. Which means I have to fit the decat as it's a UKDM exhaust
Hoping MOT will be ok on emissions, as it's a BB4?

Lexarse lights will go coming off
