I don't know where to begin really... I was looking at getting a new car and looked at lots of different options new and old and ended up getting a 1999 5th gen H22 with a manual gearbox. It seems rather nice from what I can tell, however I know naff all about this generation of Prelude and I think it needs some help in the looks department. Can anyone give me some pointers in what to do with it, this is my new daily and I need it for work so I don't want to go mental! I await further instructions

As a daily driver I’d want it to prove itself mechanically and carry out any required work and maintenance first.
Then start spending money improving it. Get a picture up if you’re able be good to see, I always think motegi kit is a good shout if you want OEM +...

30mm lower on standard shocks is fine. Even 40mm but its can't comment on how it will ride.
Dc5 wheels are 17x7 et60 with stock tyres 215/45/17. They will fit fine. Tyre size is perfect but the offset is high. Maybe 5mm slip on spacers or try 15/20mm Bolt on spacers.
Can you give us some more 3rd Gen porn please? No updates is bang out of order considering the amount of 3rd Gen fappage you posted on the peak preludeuk days.

The wheels that are on it, are they off an Accord or a Legend? They look familiar.
I would go coilovers if you can afford it as it will ride better than on just springs.
