So it has never gotten it's own true devoted thread so here it goes,it will be slow as i'm between 2 cars at the moment but will endeavour ;)

Just over 2 years of ownership.

Very first pic after the 3 hour drive home

Image

Front bumper was pretty rough with mild impact and color and aligning was sketchy.
Also front wing was damaged over the wheel arch.

Image
Image

Was chuffed to find an aluminium radiator upfront too but joy was short lived as i learned it was leaking in 2 spots so after some workshop visiting it was sadly deemed unusable or fixable.

Clear headlights and White nostrils.

Foglight covers but no lights.

Horrible clear tailights :|
You can spot my first 4G a Granada Black Ausdm Vti-R which i transferred some goodies from, front end right off.

Enkei rims.

Interior was pretty spotless and standard with all electrics doing as they should and healthy A/C oh and working cup holder lid :D

Now at 224,000kms

First mod was to install the Sunk2 Megapower system which i had from my last Prelude.

Image

Image
Bought it off an Irish 4G owner who had been living in Brisbane and had returned to Ireland with the system and was then selling it back home so i snapped it up at a good price and got it shipped back over,it's well travelled
Actually sure it's a modded 5G one and has been cut around mid section and i have improvised with the back box as the hangers are different.
Decat also fitted and now sports a bung too.

After 2 months of honeymooning the water pump failed so i got on to Rockauto for the first time and got all the belts and seals sent down along with a Kaizenspeed manual tensioner for good measure.
Image

Tried to do the job myself but failed after a big try with the crankbolt so i got the car towed and the job finished close by,was a relief to have it ready in 4 hrs,i remember the mechanic saying he had to heat the bolt :o

Rocker cover was an eyesore so it was stripped back and done wrinkle red.
Image

A'pexi intake and Tanabe front strut along with Ngk leads all added.
Image

Stumbled across an Accord rear lip so it joined on the back end aesthetics
Image

Alteeza style lights refreshed in stained glass Ruby Red and i still love the appearance this gives the car
Image
Pics are a bit grainy been off my Iphone 4

Front rotors were pretty stale so some slots were had and another gift from the Green Isle an AC Autotechnic rear strut.
Image

Always looking for a Cf hood for my car as i have had one on all my fave last few cars and came across a new one on Gumtree from all the months trawling  ,vented i usually prefer stock but couldn't be choosy and the vent well works as a vent, win!
That putty tape on it though, hours to get off, must have been on there for a long time.

use a heat gun or your birds hairdryer to warm the tape

I'm loving the Accord rear lip. Looks so cool. It's what the 'Lude was missing, I think.

Matey i tried it all,it was bet on,the tape budge but that residue,i left some on the under side to remind me of the blisters  nothing but pure elbow grease in the end but i had done it so long if you look close down it has left some marks in the lacquer but hardly noticeable after a good polish and wax 8-)

I Loved it too but after a year on it's starting to feel a bit old,i've done kits on a fair few of my cars and do like the subtleness this gives the rear particularly when a big muffler sticks out it helps the blend,i painted it myself before fitting and it could be better matched like a alot of white cars with lips and skirts and obviously the cars paint has dated but its on the cards soon so i want to get the whole bumper resprayed and maybe get the lip joined in for smoothness... ?

So i wanted hood pins to be on the safe side, never bothered with other cf hoods but just wanted peace of mind and went for non branders Aerocatch style, well that was a fail and upon fitting after hours of dremel cutting and taking care to get to the final hurdle and the latch snapped upon fitting first time, pain i tell you.

Luckily the seller also stocked Aerocatch originals so discount was given and the right ones bought, over a yr and no problems, tough stuff.

Holes lined near the same so that was a relief.

A teeny bit up on the drivers side but after a long time tinkering i have lived with it

Re: Greg-Sir's '95 Bb4 Lighty Clutch Time

Forced upgrade and exciting times as i never upgraded my drivetrain before so when the cars clutch gave up 2 weeks ago i started looking and thanks to some help from other members settled on this combo and also found some Endless rears that were too good a price too pass on :P

Image

Popped into Mr Amsoil for the lube but found he had sold out arghh, job piped in for the morning so have settled on draining bb2's goodness which hasn't been driven since changing and thats going in but found a new supplier online so bought the replacements already, these donor project cars just keep giving

The girl is dressed in full White for the occassion 8-) ,just don't trust people with the Cf bonnet and the hinges and have witnessed twice popping the hood with hinges still in lock

Peace of mind plus it's nice for a change!

Missed the car with it been off the road for 2 weeks, get through this hump then it's Silver's time to shine.

Looks 8-) mate, you have put some good work into her so far.. I have the accord rear lip on my original bumper off my bb4, there a lot rarer in the UK as they didn't do that shape accord over there.. You can also fit the front lip and sides off that shape accord ;)
